The Maine Heart Gallery is a photo exhibit of children in Maine, who are waiting for their forever family, with the goal of connecting families and children together. A Family for ME is a partnership between the Maine Department of Health and Human Services and Spurwink Services, and is responsible for the Maine Heart Gallery. Here in Maine, there are approximately 100 children waiting for their adoptive family. Could you be their forever family?

Miah is a fun-loving, adventurous 10-year-old, who loves the balance of playing outdoors and then hanging inside, relaxing with a movie or crafting. She does best with predictability and routine. She is a great negotiator so she will need parents who are nurturing and loving but who can also hold a firm boundary once they set it! She loves to engage with family members and enjoys being part of a close community. She loves movies, drawing, reading, being outside, animals (especially dogs), soccer, and spending time with friends.
