The Maine Heart Gallery is a photo exhibit of children in Maine, who are waiting for their forever family, with the goal of connecting families and children together. A Family for ME is a partnership between the Maine Department of Health and Human Services and Spurwink Services, and is responsible for the Maine Heart Gallery. Here in Maine, there are approximately 100 children waiting for their adoptive family. Could you be their forever family?

Jaylyn is a caring person who values the relationships in her life. She loves spending time with her people and enjoys being with those she trusts. She has a gentle way about her and is sweet to others. She absolutely loves to laugh and loves to make others laugh as well. While she may be shy when meeting new people, her warm personality shines through once she feels comfortable. Like many young teens, she is continuing to learn more about herself and the person she wants to become. She has a strong desire to help others and has mentioned possibly becoming an EMT or doctor when she grows up. Jaylyn has a caring heart and a willingness to be a part of a family. She is ready to thrive with a family that will celebrate her strengths and support her journey.
