The Maine Heart Gallery is a photo exhibit of children in Maine, who are waiting for their forever family, with the goal of connecting families and children together. A Family for ME is a partnership between the Maine Department of Health and Human Services and Spurwink Services, and is responsible for the Maine Heart Gallery. Here in Maine, there are approximately 100 children waiting for their adoptive family. Could you be their forever family?

Dre is a sports enthusiast, and is sure to “wow” you with both his knowledge and skill. Basketball is his all-time favorite sport and one that he excels at. You may one day see him on an NBA court if things turn out the way he hopes. While not on the basketball court or playing other sports, he is interested in science and learning about how things work. He’s hoping to have a home with lots of animals to play with and spend time with. Dre has many interests similar to other peers his age, such as video games and socializing with friends. He has a love for food and especially likes soul food. Sometimes you might catch him going for a walk or fishing when given the opportunity. He likes the balance of doing things with his forever family, as well as enjoying his own space. He is a natural comedian, and his personality can really shine when he’s feeling comfortable.
